Dream of murder proved right?

UNITED STATES. It is more than five years since Rod Spraggins stood up at a candidate forum and accused an opponent of murder. He claimed that Barry Waites, who was also in the race for a seat on Lannett City Council in Birmingham, Alabama, had killed his wife, Charlotte Waites. And he challenged his opponent, who was not present at the meeting, to sue him for slander if he was wrong.

Waites neither sued nor responded to the charge, and neither man won a seat on the council.
But in February this year, police arrested Waites and charged him with murder – the culmination, they say, of years of following up on leads and tips.

So how did Spraggins know five years before the police? Because Charlotte Waites had appeared to him in a series of dreams revealing who was responsible for her death.

In fact, says Spraggins, he had no desire to win a seat on the local council. He just wanted to use the opportunity to expose Waites’ crime.
